Home-based caseworkers provide home-based casework services for families involved with DCS/Probation as well as adoptive families at risk or in crisis. Home based casework services are designed to reduce maltreatment, improve caretaking and coping skills, enhance family resilience, support healthy and nurturing relationships, and children's physical, emotional, and educational well-being.
Home-based caseworkers provide any combination of the following types of services:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly-related human service field from an accredited college.
