Since 1997, Ireland Home Based Services has worked in several Indiana counties providing quality home-based services. We are extremely proud to announce that we were notified on December 17, 2018 we have successfully earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Behavioral Health Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care. We will continue working with State, Regional, and Local County offices in developing, delivering and improving service standards on behalf of children, families and persons with developmental disabilities. Ireland Home Based Services provides comprehensive home and community-based services to families and children in 51 counties in Southern Indiana. Services are scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 24-hour crisis and emergency services are also available as needed.
Parenting education is the provision of structured, parenting skill development experiences.
Home-based caseworkers provide home-based casework services for families involved with DCS/Probation as well as adoptive families at risk or in crisis.
The Fatherhood Engagement Program is designed to engage absent and/or non-resident fathers in the Department of Child Services Family Case Plan.
We have a seasoned, experienced team of behavior clinicians from whom you can choose to work with.
IHBS began providing Home-Based Services with only four employees. Since then, significant growth has occurred allowing services to be delivered to a greater number of children and families throughout Southern Indiana. IHBS currently offers services to children and families involved with DCS and Probation, prevention services through the Community Partners for Child Safety program, services to fathers through the Fatherhood Engagement Initiative, as well as behavior support services through the Medicaid Waiver programs. Expanding services has allowed IHBS to assist the State of Indiana in providing crucial services to children, families, and persons with developmental disabilities.
