Provide home-based casework and therapy in the Indiana counties of: Bartholomew, Boon, Brown, Clay, Crawford, Daviess, Dearborn, Decatur, DuBois, Gibson, Greene, Hendricks, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Ohio, Orange, Owen, Parke, Perry, Pike, Posey, Putnam, Ripley, Shelby, Spencer, Sullivan, Switzerland, Vanderburgh, Vermillion, Vigo, Warrick.

A Home-Based Case Worker must have one of the following:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Associates Degree and 4 years/ experience providing services to families.
• High School Diploma/GED and 4 years' experience providing services to families.

Therapists require one of the following:
• Master's or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human
Services Licensing Board
• Master's degree with a temporary permit issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services
Licensing Board
• Master's degree in related human services field having completed a minimum of 24 post-secondary semester
hours in a qualifying human services degree field.

License preferred but not required. . Supervision for licensure is available.

Experience working with families, children, day cares, or youth groups helpful.

Duties could include:

  • Supervising visits between children in foster care and their parents
  • Teaching parenting skills
  • Helping families with resources such as food banks, finding appropriate housing
  • Providing therapeutic interventions to adults, youth and families

Provide supervised visitation, case management, and parent education services. This opportunity includes working with youth on probation and other home based social services.

Services are provided in the client's home and in the community. Training provided. Must be able to work evenings, at least one weekend day and have reliable transportation.
Must be organized, assertive, and have mature judgment.
