IHBS offers Random Drug Testing services for clients referred through Department of Child Services and Juvenile Probation. Screens are conducted randomly up to three times per week, at the referring agency’s discretion, and can be performed in the client’s home or IHBS offices. Samples are collected utilizing direct observation by a same-sex worker and then shipped to a nationally certified lab for testing.
Substances tested for include illicit drugs, prescription drugs, and alcohol. Available options for testing include urine screens, oral fluid screens, and hair follicle screens. In addition, testing for synthetic drugs is available through urine screens and oral fluid screens.
IHBS also offers on-call, emergency drug screening services. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Screens can be performed in the client’s home, in the referring agency’s office or IHBS offices, or at other locations deemed appropriate by the referring agency. A urine sample is collected utilizing direct observation by a same-sex worker. A rapid test is then conducted on-site, providing instant preliminary results. Samples with preliminary positive results are sent to a lab for confirmation testing.
IHBS strives to offer comprehensive, quality drug testing services that respect the dignity of each client we encounter.
