Manager of Waiver Services/Behavior Clinician
Karen has worked with Ireland Home Based Services since 1993 as a Behavior Clinician and the Manager of Waiver Services. Karen has degrees in Music Therapy and Health Services Administration and is approved by the State of Indiana as a provider of Behavior Support Services. Karen has worked with people with developmental disabilities and mental health issues in both a clinical and programmatic role and a supervisory role for over twenty years. Past experience included providing behavior support for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health/behavioral issues in group home settings, providing therapeutic supports for inpatient mental health hospitals, and providing programming and direct support services to persons with developmental disabilities in a wide variety of environments. Karen currently provides services in Vanderburgh, Warrick and Pike Counties.
Assistant Manager of Waiver Services/Behavior Clinician
Vicki has worked with Ireland Home Based Services since 2006 as a Behavior Clinician and the Assistant Manager of Waiver Services. Vicki has a Masters degree in Social Work. She has over 17 years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Her experience includes managing multiple group homes for persons with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges, providing and supervising programming and behavior support for persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral challenges, providing counseling services through the mental health system and providing home health and community based services. Vicki currently provides services in Vanderburgh, Pike and Dubois Counties.
Pam has worked with Ireland Home Based Services since 2004 as a Behavior Clinician. She has a Masters degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Pam has over 12 years of experience working in behavioral health including providing therapy services at the Evansville State Hospital working with persons with many different mental health and developmental challenges. Additional experience includes providing counseling support for persons with mental health diagnoses both in home-based and clinic settings. Pam currently provides services in Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick, and Perry Counties.
David has worked with Ireland Home Based Services since 2007 as a Behavior Clinician. He has a Masters in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). David brings with him over 17 years of experience providing community based and residential experience both as a clinician and a clinical supervisor. David’s experience includes providing home and community based services for persons with behavioral and mental health issues, including those with developmental disabilities. He has provided clinical therapeutic residential supports as well as inpatient mental health therapeutic supports. David currently provides services in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer and Perry Counties.
Chad has worked with Ireland Home Based Services since September 2008. Chad originally provided in-home family preservation and reunification therapy services for families and children involved with the Division of Child Services. Having had experience working with people with disabilities before, Chad eventually transferred to the Medicaid Waiver program. Chad has a Masters of Science in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Indiana. Chad has experience with a broad range of individuals with behavioral and mental health issues including families, children, adults and geriatrics. He has worked with adults with developmental disabilities in day program and supportive employment settings while earning his MSSW in Louisville, KY. Chad currently provides services in Vanderburgh, Pike and Daviess Counties.
Candace has worked with Ireland Home Based Services since 2010 as a Behavior Clinician. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker. Candace has experience providing therapeutic services for adults, children and families in community-based as well as home-based settings. Her experience also includes providing case management and clinical services to persons with developmental disabilities and mental health issues both in individual and group settings. She has also worked with a non-for-profit organization in Evansville to implement and oversee community support groups aimed to support individuals facing various mental health challenges. Candace currently provides services in Vanderburgh, Warrick, and Knox Counties.
John F. Ireland
Dr. Ireland is the Founder of Ireland Home Based Services which has provided in-home and community-based supports for families and children since 1994. Dr. Ireland holds a PhD. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Arizona and is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP) in the State of Indiana. He has over 25-years of experience as a practicing psychologist in Southwest Indiana and is a former Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Evansville. Dr. Ireland has provided and continues to provide psychological services with a focus in vocational rehabilitation for over 20-years and was the Director of Clinical Services for Deaconess Hospital inpatient and outpatient services from 1988 – 1994. Additionally, his experience includes being the director of a child development lab with a focus on Autism. Dr. Ireland is a Diplomate and Fellow with the American Board of Forensic Examiners and is a Senior Analyst and Diplomate with the American Board of Disability Analysts. He sits on the boards for several state advisory groups for children and families. Dr. Ireland provides clinical supervision for all Behavior Clinicians with the Ireland Home Based Services Clinical Team.
